Great location with easy access to all the key sights and attractions! the hotel offers a fantastic breakfast with freshly baked bread and a wide range of options. the rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. the staff is friendly and always willing to help.

The rooms are starting to show their age and could use some updating. the walls are a bit thin, and it can be a bit noisy when events are held in the hotel's common areas.

Different qualities of rooms due to renovation still in progress. Bit of a gamble which room you get. Quality will surely be adjusted soon though. - Calidades diferentes de las habitaciones porque la renovación todavía está en curso. Un poco incierto cual habitación se recibe. Pero por supuesto la calidad será ajustada pronto.

I booked at the Carlos V with some hesitation, based on variable reviews, but found it to be better than I had expected. Rooms are still small, but the bathroom was recently renovated, nicely tiled, with excellent lighting, new shower enclosure, bidet and ample hot water. Rooms have flat screen TV, electronic key-card locks and free Wifi. Location in the busiest part of town is another plus. While it is still no Ritz Carlton, I was pleasantly surprised, and would stay there again.

Small rooms with no view.

Close to the center of town, great location, fantastic breakfast, and welcoming staff. I loved being just a short walk away from all the important sights in this city. The breakfast spread was excellent, with so much food to choose from. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home even though I don't speak Spanish.

Nothing, all great. This hotel exceeded all my expectations and I can't think of a single negative thing to say.

Unconfortable bed, small room,

The lobby of the hotel was nice and the café was a good spot for breakfast. The hotel had a good location, right in the heart of the city. It was easy to walk to most of the shops and restaurants. I also appreciated the friendly staff who were always willing to help.

It was much smaller than I expected and was very noisy due to the street traffic. The air conditioner was also incredibly loud and I ended up turning it off.

The hotel is located in a central area, which makes it easy to get around. It's close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. the lobby is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is eager to assist. the cafe serves a good breakfast.

The hotel is not very soundproof. Guests can easily hear events in the function room, and the noise can be disturbing.
